SS20 - Painter Collection

This year we celebrate 10 years of R/H studio. In 2010 R/H was founded by two young designers, Hanna Riiheläinen and Emilia Hernesniemi. The same summer the first official spring/summer collection was designed and made for the market. The first R/H collection was recognized worldwide and sold in over 10 countries from Oulu, Finland to New York, USA. We want to celebrate 10 years of R/H teamwork, Mickey Dresses and R/H prints and will bring out two special birthday capsule collections - one for summer and one for winter.

Let us introduce you R/H Painter 2020 collection. R/H Painter print is designed by R/H Creative Director Emilia Hernesniemi originally in the summer of 2010. The print was inspired by a midnight summer sky in North of Finland with the mix of pink, purple and bluish black tones. R/H Head of Design Hanna Riiheläinen chose Painter print to be the inspiration for the R/H birthday summer collection: “We wanted to bring back a little bit of original R/H black magic, summer sky tones and play with the iconic R/H Mickey cut. Painter print is the most beautiful print I have ever seen and it is still one of my all time favorite R/H prints. Every summer I still wear my Painter dress from the first collection we made. I love that sweet Nordic summer sky that becomes alive in a garment."
