In Finland, Valentine’s day is not only a day for lovers, but a celebration of friendship! Friends are there when we need them and sometimes when we don’t need them (or even want them around, bestie I love you but I don’t want you sending me pics of every single thing you do, tysm). They are the ones who can make a trip to the grocery store into the most fun activity ever. They steal your clothes and eat your food, but they repay you by showing up at your door unannounced with a bottle of bubbly when you need it the most. Friendship is the best thing we do.
